Workout Plan - Pedalling

Hi all.

Am currently on a FTP Builder workout plan with ERG mode “on”, on a Wahoo Kickr.

Would like to know if there is any advice, following pedalling hard for the “10 seconds @ 305w” segment, how dfo you control your pedalling in such manner where you can pedal at “1:50minutes @ 75w” decently without dropping power? After the 305w, the wheel will be spinning so fast that I have problem adjusting the resistance to pedal at 75w?

Does one change gear up or down or is there any other way?
