I had similar issue. I was using a Garmin cadence sensor on my bike. I borrowed a Wahoo cadence sensor and the problem went away
Precisely the same annoying cadence discrepancy issue, but great that we have a forum to keep mentioning it to each other without any response or fix from Zwift. Community based support is certainly a big step forward. Snark. Snark.
I’m seeing the same issue when doing a workout, Zwift app running on Pixel 4 and companion running on Pixel 1. Companion app consistently asks for 15rpm higher. Cadence is via a dedicated Garmin sensor.
Same issue for me, 90rpm on Zwift and 105 Companion for every workout. Running on Android tablet and phone, wahoo kickr

Looking through the history of the ticket - it looks like it was fixed at one point, and it’s returned. I’ll ask the team to revisit this issue.
