During workouts, Zwift companion app drops the workout page. The workout continues on the Apple TV. The ride is still visible on Companion but the app dashboard is no longer available. I have tried shutting down Companion and restarting with little success. I see some older posts this topic.
Hi, @cybirr, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
I’m sorry to hear about the connectivity hiccups you’re facing between your ZC app and Zwift.
I reviewed your account and found no disconnection issues or interferences. I noticed that the ZC app is updated to version 3.64.0, as well as the game.
This issue may be related to the network since you’re using an iPhone to run the ZC app and an Apple TV for the game app. Both apps need to be connected to the same network, including the same 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band. However, it’s common for the iPhone to switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, which could cause this matter.
If you’re running Zwift on an iOS mobile device, you must grant Zwift Local Network permissions to allow the app to pair and communicate with the ZC app:
Open Settings on your iOS device.
Select Zwift and ensure Local Network is turned on.
Try rebooting your wireless network router
Follow these steps to ensure the device you’re running the ZC app on isn’t connecting via mobile data rather than your wireless network:
You seem to have identified the problem and the solution. Thank you! I’ve included a screenshot of the switch I toggled off for the Companion app on iOS.
