Windows - Updated to 1.85, first Zwift crash to desktop in years

Windows 11, nVidia GPU, rock-solid older Intel 10th-gen platform (I’m in the PC industry)

I haven’t had a Zwift crash in literally 4-5 years (9,000 miles a year on Zwift) and 30 minutes after updating to 1.85 today, it silently CTD with no error or crash report.

Hi @Kai_K, welcome back to the forums! Jose here, from Zwift.

We are sorry that you are facing crashing issues and we appreciate that you have informed us. There can usually be many reasons why the game is crashing, such as A VPN or Proxy Server, Your Firewall, connecting through a Router. I ask you to take a look at this article so you can try to solve it. Besides, you should probably also install the latest video driver from the Intel website.

Let us know how it goes!

When you upload a log file to zwiftalizer.com does it confirm you were using the nvidia GPU during that activity?

Hi @Kai_K

We released a Windows-only version 1.85.2 that may address your crash. Please update to 1.85.2 and let us know if this did / did not help.
