I ride a trainer where the connection is terrible so I usually am riding by myself in Zwift on an old iPhone with no signal. That’s fine. Twice now I’ve lost the rides though, I hit save and there’s no error message. I assume it’s bad/no connection, but if that’s the case why don’t I get credit for the miles ridden if the app has a file saved to it? I’ve lost about 5 hours worth of riding to this over the last week.
I suggest you move the phone to an area where you have signal or wifi when you are done riding and then save it. Zwift doesn’t allow you to upload fit files, so if it is gone there is no recovering it.

That’s what I was afraid of. I do generally have a WiFi connection when I walk back to the house, other riders appear when I end the ride, save it, and it apparently silently goes into the trash. The app should give an error if it fails to upload the ride or something and retry again later, just silently discarding 3 hours of data is ridiculous with no warnings or 2nd chances
