Why is every user not now listed in zwift power?

I haven’t been racing for a long while but just getting back into it

The change to zwift points is great, and a long time coming, well done team

I have noticed though that it’s still the case that every rider using zwift and racing STILL isn’t registered on zwift power and therefore doesn’t show in results.

How on earth can that be, must be 3 years + since the platform.was bought and that ought to be the most basic of integrations surely?

Because you have to have an account and also consent to data privacy in your zwift.com account settings.

Not everyone cares; and legally, Zwift cannot share data without that consent.

The flip question is why isn’t all of the rest of the shareable data that ZP shows available in zwift’s own (non ZP) results?

Sure but zwift owns it, they could just make it part of the sign up, that’s my point

Absolutely, but it suffers from “not invented here” and they’re letting it die rather than improving it. The story is that development work will go into the app instead.

Well exactly - why buy it and only half use it, makes no sense

I actually don’t especially care which way they do it but they still haven’t done either, years later
Using ZP and enforcing sign up when registering would have been simple and add functionality, it’s mental they haven’t done it really

Maybe they felt they would have to rework all the UI to get it to primary zwift UI standard

My “fear” (minor) is they replicate but don’t add history, giving a clean slate to a lot of the platforms more obvious cheats.
