Why do some riders get race points even if they have been disqualified (WKG)? For example Zwiftpower profile 3201260 (current race ranking points: 288.25).
After activating the “Rank Before” column for this rider, the points for the start of a race can be seen. The columns “Result” and “Gain” are always empty.
Still, an improvement can be seen from “WKG”-race to “WKG”-race.
Or am I totally wrong and misinterpreting the zwift power calculations?
It would be great if someone could explain this.
I’d say its an anomaly until that persons hits the profile refresh button - he only has a total of 10 events, and his five best results (ranking) dont match any of his 5 non-DQ’ed events. And given he doesn’t seem to care about his 5 DQ’s from his last 5 events, I’m guessing he doesnt actually monitor ZP.
You mean that not all races with point improvement are visible?
But in my opinion the last 5 “WKG” races are up to date. It is also probably difficult to collect points in another race between “Giant Crit Crushers - Week X - Race 1” and “Race 2”. One starts XX:00 the other then XX:25.
No - I think this persons data is all screwed up and his ZP account needs a reset, or the refresh. Even his “View 95%” is showing spurious results.
Yes the events look fine, what I am suggesting is that as he has incorrect data in the first place, the “before” column is just representing a snapshot based on that spurious data. The important part though is that he hasn’t been awarded points for his DQ’s and his results dont impact anyones ranking allocations

For me, however, it looks more like “Result” and “Gain” are just not displayed. And in my opinion, the rider only climbed up the rankings with these WKG races in the last few days.
To me it looks more like a bug. In my opinion, this happens with riders who have not specified weight and/or height (but that can be a strange coincidence).
I’ll keep watching it for the days.
