Same here with Android. Enter 66.0 kg, save, back to profile it’s 6600 kg and also ingame I’m with 6,6 tonnes
Entering 0.88 kg stops this bug for me in the companion App.
I’ll check ingame later, whether it’s 88kg or 880 grams
Same problem for me.
Running the Companion on Android.
Try to set the weight to 68kg, and get 6800kg
Hope this is solved ASAP.
Entering 0.88 in the companion App (Android / German) results in 088 being displayed in the CA - ingame it’s 0.88
Setting ingame to 88.00, results in the App wanting to set the weight to 8800
Edit
I can only use a “.” as decimal separator in the Companion App. Not a comma “,” as I’d expect with a localized application.
Suggestion
Allow us to choose the language for the App, thus allowing us to bypass any translation problems until fixed
I can confirm I am having the same issue. My weight had changed to 6800kg. I was able to adjust it during my meetup ingame back to 68kg but CA kept removing the decimal point. So for now I wont be touching CA to make any changes.
dumb question, but how would comma users instead of period “.” users, distinguish difference between whole numbers and actual decimals if there happen to be 3 digits after the separator? ie. 123,456 vs 123.456
@Wannie
Not a dumb question, and if one is used to operating in a single language and culture I can understand that it could seem to be open to ambiguous interpretation, but somehow it is always immediately apparent what the format of a number is, given the context.
I grew up in one culture (decimal point separator) and now live and work in another (mainly comma decimal separator), dealing with multiple others in work communications in an international environment. I never find myself wondering if a comma in a number is a thousands separator or a decimal separator.
There’s a pretty good wikipedia article that breaks it all down at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_separator
This table from a few pages in gives a good illustration of the various formats used around the world, even though it only shows numbers up to 2dp:
Ok thanks. Yeah context works typically, but I was thinking for some reason about standardized tests and the like… Sorry… way OT, but just curious.
Hi,
I have the same problème.
Since one week i have a problem with Android apk Companion.
My Weight is multiplicated by 100 !!! I m 7000 kg instead of 70.
So i tried to put 0,7 kg…and Companion put “070 kg”…i thought it was ok but when i run , i develop higher watt/kg so Zwift tells me that maybe i’m a professional so my results will not be registered…
When i run, if i develop high watt/kg, this message appears ans then i’m excluded of the run !!!
Furthermore, i cannot run because Zwift change resistance and i have to develop 350 watt on flat top run 30km/h !!! Impossible to run …
I have non solution and Zwift not AT all…
Weight issue on zwift companion
Exactly, « . » still not available for French user on companion.
On ATV we can use Siri en mention « point » but we can’t use Siri on companion apps.
Whatever separator is used, it should at least be used consistently and not just magically disappear from the value when it is displayed. And in this case the acceptable range of values is such that there is no real harm in accepting either . or , as the decimal separator regardless of locale settings, but as a minimum SOMETHING should be displayed and accepted for input. (My ZCA is in English but somehow Veijo Android has decided I too want to use comma as the decimal separator.)

Did anyone ever answer/mention if issue still exists if you switch to imperial units in order to enter your weight in lbs?
The issue still exists when switching to lbs on the CA. It always adds two 00 at the end or multiplies with 100.
It’s annoying! Was wondering why the resistance was so hard and why I barely managed to go above 1w/kg. Had to drop out of an event because of that. This sucks!
Can confirm that. Setting my weight from 76kg to 75kg resulted in 7500kg.
I have the same problem. Even when I’m not in an event, impossible to correct the weight. The app on my phone (Android) always adds 2x 0 making my ratio Watt/kg crazy. My weight is ok in my profil in my Zwift account.
I switched to Imperial, same story. Very annoying.
Hey, is er al een oplossing voor het probleem met het gewicht, kan zwift nog altijd niet gebruiken!
You can use it! Just change it when your in Zwift. Then don’t go to your profile using companion app!
Nope, not working. Nothing is that easy in Zwift. My weight is ok in my Zwift profile but appears with 2x 0 in Campanion.
I will ride without Campanion and it’s not fun.
