This has happened quite a number of times. First time, I laughed it off, but it seems to happen far more than it doesn’t. It’s also done this over several weeks. It’s something I haven’t read about yet either. Also the completed goal doesn’t actually inflate my weekly time. No, I would not have ridden 8 hours on my first ride on a Monday. (I appreciate the encouragement, but)
Hi @Rob_C_Neo_2 thanks for the report.
This is a known issue that’s in our backlog to fix.
Sorry, I didn’t know it was a known issue…
I see - I think - on every first ride of the week a message “weekly goal met, 5 hours!” But it was only a ride of half an hour and the first of the week. Maybe I am seeing it wrong but it seems weird to me.
I just completed my weekly goal and when I went into my goals after my ride it said I had 31.4 km and 7 days to complete my 100km.
I have been getting this exact same problem for the past few months. As soon as I start my first ride of the week I get the “Weekly goal met” banner.
Same here. Almost every ride I get the ‘Weekly goal met!’ banner even though I’m nowhere near my goal of 3 hours.
Hello all,
Thank you for raising this issue. We’re looking into it at HQ.
@Rob_Kemper, from your post, it looks like this issue has been around a little while- it may be something Zwifters are overlooking or it may only be affecting a smaller group.
Same problem, has
been happening for more than a year.
Get a pop up after 4 hours riding each week saying I have reached my weekly target, which is 11 hours?
Distance goal not been working at all for just as long.
I have this issue as well - at the start of every ride I get the message that my weekly 5 hr goal has been met. I’ve just got used to ignoring it, but I would love to have this bug fixed. It started for me in November 2023.
Same ive been expreiencing this for over a year
Same problem here.
I’ve been having this same problem for months too.
Still happening to me too. Weird.
Hey all - looping back to mark this issue solved. This was fixed several versions back, and with the lack of reports since then, we’re confident this closes this specific issue.
I’ve been getting a “Weekly Goal Met” caption on every ride since I met my weekly target last Sunday (20th April). Doesn’t coincide with any particular milestone or rounded mileage. Just totally spurious…
I’ve hit my weekly goal every day this week, which is wrong. My goal is 160 km and I didn’t hit that on Monday, and on Tuesday, and again on Wednesday.
I don’t remember a recent update to my Zwift app on AppleTV. Thanks for investigating as I’m sure I’m not the only person reaching their goals way too soon.
Ride On
Similar, since v1.87 my weekly distance goal has been messed up - repeatedly firing, firing long after I have achieved the goal…
There is a way to set a goal in Zwift Companion app now by tapping on the middle top part of the training status panel on the companion app home screen. Can you have a look and see if you have a silly goal set there that is conflicting with your desired goal you set before?
That’s my only thought of what might be happening.
Hi @Jim_Hall, welcome back to the forums! Jose here from Zwift.
I appreciate you reaching out and we’ll be happy to assist! To better understand the issue, could you share some images of what you’re experiencing? This will allow us to review it further and provide the best possible solution.
