Wahoo core snap compatibility

Hi

I have read that the wahoo core snap is not compatible with several bikes, including a trek domane, which is what i have

Why is it incompatible? It is not clear to me if it means the thru axle is not compatible, or if a quick release is also not compatible

Can anybody help?

From Wahoo’s website:

The KICKR SNAP is compatible with standard 130/135mm quick release out of the box and 12x142 with the purchase of an adapter. Click to find out if your bike is compatible.

Known Incompatible Bikes

The following bikes are NOT COMPATIBLE with KICKR v5, KICKR '18, or KICKR CORE:

  • Canyon Ultimate with rim brakes [disc brake version still compatible]
  • 2021 Trek Emonda
  • 2020-2021 Trek Domane & Madone
  • 2021 Giant TCR Disc Models
  • 2020 Cervelo S5
  • Lauf True Grit

Mine is 2015 and the axle is 130 I guess. I have a quick release from a Tacx flow and it fits perfectly, so I’m not sure what’s the problem

That list was not for the snap though, it is this one, but it refers to thru axel, so I don’t know if for quick release is also incompatible

  • Some Trek bikes including Domane variants
  • 2021 Cannondale bikes with carbon frames
  • 2021 BMC Teammachine ALR Disc Two
  • 2020 Bianchi Sprint
  • 2019 Specialized Roubaix
