haha … so someone else got mine eh ![]()
Worked for me too. Thanks @shooj and Team Zwift!
Even knowing about the rounding to the nearest integer multiple of 60.92, I believe I have been credited with an extra 120 meters or so. Can you help? ![]()
I think they are mine ![]()
Thanks, my miles from my early morning ride have been credited!
Woooo, 180m more than I’ve actually done now. Normal service has been resumed once again. Thanks Shooj and team ![]()
Same here, 201 meters more (so not complaining at all ;)). But it does not make any sense because before 24 (21 january) I climbed 239 meters
This worked for me! Elevation from 24th now added to my total. Thanks
Zwift doesn’t save any rides that are less than around 2km, which does roughly translate to the 1.3 miles that you’re seeing. This is a Zwift thing in general, and nothing to do with the Climbing Mission.
Steve
Many thanks for both reading my Forum post (I have a problem writing short versions of anything) and for answering my question re saving ideas of less than 2km / 1.3 miles.
You point out that “This is a Zwift thing in general, and nothing to do with the Climbing Mission”. I would beg to slightly differ in that I believe I proved, to myself, that by completing 9 very short rides with a total climb distance of 505 ft that these rides were not saved, as expected, and did not add distance climbed to the Climb Mission total. The 595 ft was added to Everest challenge and total distance climbed on Activity companion app record.
Best Regards
Ian
When will confirmation emails be sent out with the challenge and prize draw data? So far I have not received anything and I have finished the challenge.
I can confirm that elevation for the mission does get counted during workouts. I think what the others experienced in the elevation not counting was the timing botch up on the first day.
It seems that I have slipped through the cracks since my ride of 708M on 5PM CET on Jan 24th is still not credited. Guess I will have to contact support then.
Cheers for demystifying this for us here, @Aoi_Niigaki. Glad to see that Eric gave you a shout-out in the Zwift Insider article about the Mission.
Just checked my numbers so far and they fit the funky calculation. ![]()
Putting aside the cases of possible remaining uncounted rides from Monday, I guess we should just ignore the mission elevation indicated in metres/feet and follow the percentage, knowing that it’s rounded (up or down).
Now, I wonder what happens if/when someone ends a ride having done the equivalent of 99.51% of the goal elevation (6066.12 metres): would the Mission tile show “100%” Complete… but with the Mission still active and incomplete? ![]()
It’s the little things in life…
Also missed, have filed support ticket.
I also reported at support. This was their answer:

So …. euh?
I am missing some climbing too from TdZ Stage 5 on Monday. 259 meters.
Zwift credited my missing elevation. Cheers Zwift.
“Once you complete a stage of the Mission, you will receive an email prompting you to enter the giveaway drawing.”
I didn’t get anything, and you?
Completed first 2 stages and no email to enter for giveaway email or kit unlocks for either?
