I updated software this morning. The Zwift app on my Android tablet cant find my trainer/hardware. My Zwift companion cant find it either.
Please provide more information about your trainer and how you’re connecting.
I have a wahoo kickr snap that is about 2 years old. I use a Samsung android tablet and I use Zwift companion on my android phone. The pairing screen no longer shows cadence and heart rate options. I do not know how to check and see what trainer I have connected if that is the issue.
Try a test with the Wahoo app.

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I’d recommend you uninstall the Zwift main app from your Samsung tablet and re-install. Here’s how.
Then - power cycle your trainer, your tablet, and while you’re at it - it’s a good idea to power cycle your WiFi router and cable modem to refresh your local network connections.
There appear to be multiple trainers in the room? A KICKR Snap and a KICKR ROLLR, is that so? Which is your preferred trainer?
After you re-install - be careful which one of those trainers you choose. Once you pair to it, that device is “remembered” by the game. Uninstall / reinstall will purge those stored devices.
Then - pair to your devices in this sequence
- Power. Pair over Bluetooth per usual.
- Resistance. There will be a ~15 second delay after you pair to Power. This lag is normal and expected before the Resistance signal “advertises” itself to Zwift.
- Cadence: Appears you have a separate cadence sensor.
- Heart Rate Monitor: if using.
Let us know if that solves it?
Last tip that’s especially important for Android / iOS / Apple TV users: After you save-and-exit (or trash-and-exit) your session - force-close the Zwift app to shut it down completely. This is different than swiping the app into the background.
I dont have a Kickr Roller. When I first opened after update installed could not find my Kickr Snap and accidentally selected the Roller.
Also I dont have a separate cadence sensor, I use the Kickr Core’s.
Will try your suggested fix when I am home from work tonight.
