What I think you are trying to say is that you want to use the old laptop as the display for the Apple TV? Most PC’s and laptops only have a outgoing display port and can’t accept an input. I don’t think that will work.

If Apple TV can share its output via AirPlay, you could install AirServer (free trial, something like $15 for the full version) on the laptop and view the signal that way.

I see several folks looking at buying a desktop with a good graphics card. I replaced a gen 3 Dell laptop over New Year’s with a new Lenovo 15.6" gaming laptop, with an i5 and GTX 1660 Ti w/ 6GB graphics and an SSD. I bought it at Best Buy and paid Cdn $950 (about US $750). Cheaper than a desktop with a GTX 1660 Ti card in it. And you get the screen, battery, keyboard, trackpad and portability for free.

Set up and running does apple tv connect with one bluetooth setting .Ant + gave me a couple of options on pairing and i used fec as it apparently was better way to connect .So does apple have one blieyooth connection or is there a better one to look for

Apple tv is bluetooth only, no ant fe-c option available.

Apple TV only uses Bluetooth. You can pair three devices, and one is always the remote. So you can pair your trainer and HRM. If your trainer doesn’t do cadence, you’ll need to use the Companion app as a bridge to pair them all. Likewise if you have a Sterzo.

If you have any devices that are ANT+ only, there are other ways to bundle them into one Bluetooth connection.

Thanks for the update. But what about Android gpus such as snapdragon 888 or 8gen 1 makes no sense the graphics are the same as on a lower end chipset. Any updates please ? Thanks

Can someone recommend a low cost graphics card that will work with the March Zwift?

Also, if I have a multi-screen system, still use my integrated card for 2 non-zwift screens and use a new graphics card on my zwift screen, will that work ok?

That is however unfortunate, the way of progress.
They can’t keep supporting REALLY outdated technology while still making progress and stay relevant.
If zwift don’t try to stay relevant, something else WILL take it’s place.

This is more about Zwifts poor design that they are forced to live with. RGT Cycling has a better design and can run on a greater variety of devices.
