When I exchange messages with mate in Japanese by using iPhone companion app.
All the sent messages are unreadable.
Also messages sent by mate as well.

This is a known limitation of the Zwift Companion app at this time. The issue lies with limited support for the Japanese character set. Hiragana / katakana may appear correctly, but most kanji do not.
