It is impossible to remove uploaded photos. There is no way to remove photos using the website or companion app. I contacted Zwift’s customer support and even for them there is no way to remove the image from an activity.
I’m flabbergasted at why this is impossible and submit that this is a design flaw.
Sometimes I take snapshots of my performance charts (the Timeline page, etc), for myself to look at later. This evening I forgot to unselect three identical copies (!?) of a critical power curve. Why are those snapshots always auto-selected, anyway? I never want to upload them.
Some users might care about sharing that data with whomever might stumble across it. Me, I’m not so proud; it is what it is. [Sigh]. But having them on my activity looks arrogant – as though I’m pounding my chest and shouting “look at my power curve!!!” And three identical copies? Come on! Let me delete at least two of them. ;^J
3 different photos by the looks. You could make your profile private, but seriously woudlnt worry as people take “pictures” of all sorts and fairly sure no-one actually cares whats snapped. Oh, and no, deleting a photo is still not a feature but voting may help with visibility with Zwift.
Whats the rest of your ride title? “Respect? You drop…”
Right–3 separate pics. They are small on my phone–hard to distinguish. I guess I was in too much of a hurry last night.
I often take snapshots of my Critical Power Curve with the curser at (close to) 20 min, 1 hour, etc. It’s quicker and easier to grab the numbers off the pics into a spreadsheet later, along with the dates embedded in the filenames stored on my laptop, as compared to wading through several screens for each ride on Strava.
This is the sort of problem that isn’t a problem till it happens to you. I just found I’d accidentally taken a screenshot of all my personal data like DOB and it had been uploaded. Only thing to do is make the activity private.
Normally I don’t care about the pics as they don’t tell anyone anything but this one did!
Not sure that it is the case that you can’t unselect all pictures at the point of saving as mentioned above, I’ve certainly done this in the past.
