Unable to end ride with apple TV

I’m unable to end my ride, at least intuitively, with my apple TV remote. It is latest greatest that apple has to offer. I can get the orange “menu” in the lower left and the blue menu in the bottom center. The only way i can eventually get to “end ride” is by button mashing until it finally come up with the end screen. At that point i am no longer pedaling and just coasting. I am an android and PC user. The only reason for the apple TV is running Zwift. Is there actually a problem here or am I not hip enough to understand apple products?

Hi @Ryan_Kratz.

Welcome to the forums. This is Haziel from Zwift. I’m glad you shared your inquiry about finishing a ride on your Apple TV here.

Taking into consideration that you mentioned it seems that you have an issue with the zoom on your Apple TV that is preventing you from seeing the menu to finish your ride.

Please don’t worry; I’m here to help you with this. You can go to Settings on your Apple TV, then navigate to Accessibility > Zoom, where you can easily turn the feature on or off.

I hope this helps, and if you’d like more detailed information, feel free to check out this Apple article for more information.

If it turns out there’s something else going on, please don’t hesitate to share a screenshot with us. That way, we can better understand your concern and assist you more effectively.

If you need help with anything else, don’t hesitate to contact ussupport@zwift.com.

No button mashing should be necessary.

When you’re in the ride, press the < button to highlight the orange Menu button. The press the centre of the main top central button on the remote to select the menu.

That should bring you up a white screen with two buttons at the bottom, Back and End Ride.

Use the directional selector button (the round surround of that top central button) and press the right side of it to highlight the End Ride button. Then again press the centre of that top round button to select it.

What may be going wrong is that the top central button acts like a touchpad if you swipe your thumb over it instead of just pressing/clicking it. That can confuse things.
