I noticed in training plans/workouts for running that Zwift asks you to set your treadmill to a certain speed. In order to set up my treadmill with Zwift I was forced to change my settings to imperial (since the treadmill is in miles) but have since changed them back to km for riding. Is the only solution to change my settings to imperial when running so I can set the speed properly? Any tips?
Btw, I haven’t run yet other than to set up the device, but I was wondering if I could avoid switching settings back and forth when I can run again? If not, no big deal.
Currently there isn’t a way to make your cycling use metric and running us imperial.
If you don’t want to switch the setting every time, it might be worth creating a sticky note and put it on your treadmill with a short list of conversions, Mph to Kph. This would allow you to get the treadmills’ speed fairly close to what it needs to be.
Thanks for the feedback! I will make that conversion list. Perhaps you can add some kind of software solution as some point in the future. I realize it is probably not a widespread issue though.
