as mentioned I didn’t have any problems when doing the Grand Fondo plan on iOS 2 weeks ago… And if it just started a few weeks ago why was this thread started in Nov 2019?
Very few instances of this since the OP in Nov. 2019, and he said it started working a few days later. I’m guessing user error or network issues may have caused those early issues. Since the last update there has been a huge increase in complaints, obviously a much larger issue this time, not user error, its a bug.
Ditto - same plan too
Ya me too. All of week 3 and now week 4 of Gravel Grinder not showing as Complete. Lame Zwift.
I’m having this problem consistently for the past 2 weeks. I am in week 6 of Build me Up. I use iPad Pro and the companion app on my iPhone. The workout saves and syncs to Strava and even shows up in my Activity feed on Zwift. But the workout I just completed disappears completely from the training plan list in companion app after I complete it. I go manually back into Strava app (on either device) and annually check “I did it” then it magically reappears in the training plan list as completed.
I have tried cycling after the workout for a minute or two before ending the ride and also closing the companion app before I end the ride. Neither helps. I contacted support but never heard back. Clearly it’s a common problem right now.
Adding to the thread that the same issue is happening - Zwift devs - just check the code will ya? User experience teams pls take note so fans can continue having their training plans captured. Thanks !
Same to me…annoying
A new variation of the same problem - my phone which was running zwift came up with a low battery warning - which made zwift crash and then only remember half of my session - but it is all the same problem - it just does not save properly
Same here. Build me up programme not capturing workouts.
Shows fine in Garmin and companion app but not within the plan.
Looks like it’s been going on since 2019. I’m not holding my breath that it’s going to get sorted so I’ll keep clicking the ‘I did it’ button.
Would be great if Zwift would sort this out in an update
Exact same for same training program… (« Build me up » trainings won’t show up as completed once done and still show available to do even though I’ve completed the training)
I’ll try to hit the « I did it » button before the timer ends next time… Done many different programs and it’s the first time this problem comes up…
On another post about the same issue… Zwift posted yesterday (15th March) that they’ve isolated the problem and are vetting the final solution. Says they’ll release the fix on the next game update but haven’t committed to a date.
If you want to read the actual response from Zwift, the post is named: Previously completed workout in training plan showing incomplete next…
"UPDATE March 15
We’ve been working on isolating this bug, and the solution is being vetted. If all goes well, we should have this bug squashed in the next game update.
Thanks for your patience everyone!"
Good spot… Here’s a link:
Same issues over here for the last few weeks. I hit the I Did It button, but I still would like my stars.
Same thing here with the Zwift race plan…aint updating so need to press the i didi it …
All: this bug has been fixed in game version 1.11.0 that released today.
Please update your game app, especially for those on iOS / Apple TV / Android
its a shocker - see my post from earlier:
So I happily pay Zwift for tier platform - until I decide to do the build Me Up Program. Mid way through the program it stops recognising the rides as Build Me Up and saves the rides to Activities but shows them undone on Build Me Up - I contact Zwift they tell me to reinstall app and then I can say “i did it” on teh ones not recorded - this of course doesn’t save the performance data in the training plan. It then gets worse any workouts I do not only don’t appear as done in they training plan they disappear totally - I refer this to Zwift by email and am asked to and in screengrabs of Build Me Up and Activities which I do - I then get an email back saying query has been passed to another department and 7 days later nothing back despite daily emails asking. So I contact an Ambassador (human shield for accountability) who says yes a well known bug (clearly not so wellknown that anyone with integrity at Zwift might tell yuo before you empty yourself for 12 weeks and hopefully the latest update will help BUT there is o way of reintegrating data and yes he is sorry Zwift customer service can be very slow. In all what should have been a motivating structured taring plan well worth £ a month has been a complete pain in the butt and I advise anyone against trusting their in plans or customer service
Maybe sorry for all the inconvenience?
For what it’s worth, this bug has made me absolutely furious. Just this afternoon I finished up a BMU workout, and the App started acting up. I tried saving it to Strava and it just hung. Then the companion App and the App itself indicated that I hadn’t finished either the workout I’d just completed, or the one I’d finished yesterday. You know the drill.
BUT… I’ve been telling myself: What have I really lost here? At worst, I’ll miss out on the badge you get for completing the Build Me Up plan. Which isn’t actually worth much of anything. One way or another, the App is still counting my kilometres ridden and meters climbed. And - most importantly of all - I am actually getting the exercise and fitness gains I wanted.
Yeah: I agree this is a very annoying bug. Zwift worked perfectly for me for three months. Until suddenly it didn’t. But its more important to my own mental health, as much as anything, to not let this ruin my Zwift experience.
Zwift will fix this. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Just don’t let this annoying bug get you down.
I have now finished the “build me up plan” I never missed a workout unfortunately the last 3 plus weeks didn’t count as I had to mark them up as “I did it outside”
I still did it all to my best and got the stars as I went. And yes my FTP did increase from 260 to 281. So I’m grateful for that and it signing up to the training plan gave me incentive and drive to get on the bike.
But it was very disappointing with the lack of help when this bug started, and even after completing the course it never gave a “WELL DONE” or anything.
I’m 34 years old and I’ve realised that no matter how old you are who ever you are, just like my toddler a star chart is very important.
I’ll sign up to another training plan it’s not put me off. But Zwift should fix a bug or give a little more to us star chasers. We all pay a fair amount of money a month, and the service in the past month has been poor.
I’m sure many will agree???
Just more communication, and even a Month free to those effected by Zwift would be a nice gesture??
Jon
Just finished my TT tune up workout and guess what , still not working . Getting a bit tired of it now tbh
