The first strength training of the FTP builder plan is inconsistent. The plan suggests a certain wattage for the 10 sec peaks but the instructions mention to go all out. In turn I didn’t receive any stars… Is this a bug or did I miss misinterpret something?

You need to pedal at the suggested wattage- not go all out. Stars are awarded by meeting the wattage +/- a certain percentage. You likely went above the suggested wattage.
