Zwift has partnered with TrainerRoad to create a seamless integration that combines AI-powered coaching and data-driven training plans with the immersive experience of virtual cycling worlds. This integration allows users to sync their TrainerRoad workout plans with Zwift, making indoor training both effective and engaging. Manual uploading of workout files is no longer necessary, making your training routine more efficient and the journey more enjoyable.
Navigate to your TrainerRoad Account Connections page.
Under Training Platforms, you will see Zwift as a newly supported connection. Select Connect.
Read and agree to the terms and conditions
This will bring you to the Zwift login page. Log into your Zwift account here.
Grant access privileges between Zwift and TrainerRoad and you should now be connected and are ready to get training!
Bonus: Zwifters will be awarded the exclusive TrainerRoad kit upon connecting TrainerRoad with Zwift.
For more detailed information on connecting your account and sending your workouts to Zwift, please check out the TrainerRoad’s support page.
What to Expect
Once connected, TrainerRoad will automatically sync planned cycling workouts directly to Zwift.
Planned workouts for the day show up on your Zwift home screen, visible in the For You carousel.
Workouts can also be viewed in the TrainerRoad custom workout folder on Zwift 2 days in advance.
Select a workout to get started. A new feature for this integration is that Zwift has enabled specific power targets for workouts pulled from TrainerRoad, so you can stick directly to the plan. No more 5 watt rounding!
Near the end of your workout, let us know how it felt! Zwift built in an RPE scale to help TrainerRoad make the right adaptations for your future sessions.
Lastly, Zwift will automatically push activities and data back to TrainerRoad. All you have to do is show up to do the work and, together, we’ll handle everything else.

Nope, it just jumps to the TR support page security error quicker. I’ll try shaking the cache and see if it makes a difference.
Ahh, if I copy/paste the URL into Safari, it brings up a page requiring a login to access it. Maybe Firefox is interpreting that as a security denial error.
I can see this link without any problems, but I have an account there too.
This is great and a longtime coming. I hope that the removal of the power rounding and the RPE evaluation at the end are added to TrainingPeaks workouts too.
I hope that too; but given Training Peaks doesn’t feature in the list of API partners even; which I guess is understandable given it’s clear link with TPv now, I am doubtful……
How much is TR paying Zwift for each linked subscriber? Can we expect future bug fixes to only be implemented to users paying for a secondary subscription?
I’ve been waiting for years for Zwift and TrainerRoad to join forces and bring the best of both worlds, so I’m excited to hear this! However, I can’t seem to find any discount for the bundled membership—am I missing something?
They aren’t “partners” there wasn’t a merger or anything like that, TR is just using Zwift’s open API to push/pull info from your account on Zwift. You still need a separate paid account for both services, they aren’t bundled.
Nice, at last! Now best features of two best cycling platforms can be
used together. TR is the best in [individual] training plans, adaptive
training, AI ftp detection, graphical interface for interval training.
While zwift is the best in social, competitive and ANTI-boring aspects.
Personally I use TR and zwift simultaneously since 2017-2018 And for me my technical scenario is better than just TR’s plans synced into zwift: I like TR’s interface,
it is clean and super useful, better than workout mode in zwift,
so I am happy to see BOTH interfaces simultaneously
I have Elite Direto XR smart trainer. TR uses ANT+ and ERG mode while
zwift uses all my the same sensors via BLE and only in power source
mode (no “Resistance” connected). This construction works smoothly and
reliably.
In 2017-2018 I used Wahoo SNAP and TWO ANT+ usb sticks in the same windows PC: one for TR, other one for zwift. It worked too.
Linked my Trainer Road account to Zwift. TR highlights Zwift as connected. Used my usual and only account logins. None of TR workouts are showing up in Zwift. TR customer support is no help and Zwift support is unreachable.
