Hello Zwifters!
As of today, October 20th, we have linked up with Xert on yet another seamless training connection! With Zwift’s new training API, you can simply Link It, Zwift it, and Track It, removing the steps before and after the workout you want to do on Zwift from a third party platform. The Xert integration allows you to push workouts from Xert → Zwift and once completed, Zwift will send workout data back to Xert for continuous fitness tracking across platforms.
A feature new from Xert is their Forecast AI, which, for Zwifters, allows you to define your end-goal power values. In other words, this feature lets you pick your future power across any duration; huge for when you’re targeting specific segments, key climbs, or route PRs in-game! With this integration, we’ve seamlessly combined Xert’s AI capabilities with Zwift’s socially immersive experience.
Here Is How It Works:
- In order to connect to Xert, you will need to follow Xert’s support article as the first step in the connection.
- Once connected, you will be able to push your cycling workout to Zwift and, once the workout is completed, the activity will automatically sync back to Xert.
- Cycling workouts pushed over for the current day will show up in the “For You” carousel on your Zwift home screen as well as in the Custom Workouts folder.
- Only running workouts from Zwift will be auto-synced back to Xert if you have that option selected in your Xert settings. The API is not set up to support running workouts pushed from Xert.
- Again, once a workout has been completed, that workout will be automatically synced back to Xert for seamless fitness tracking and progress.
