First off, did you also connect your Zwift account to TR? (I would guess this happened concurrently with connecting your TR account to Zwift, but still worth a check.)
Do you have any TR workouts scheduled for today? If so, check your calendar (web or app) to see if the Zwift logo (orange Z) appears below the workout. If so, it has been synced to Zwift; if not, you might want to break the Zwift/TR connection and start again.
If you do have the Z logo, check the custom workouts folder in Zwift, and there should be a TR folder. And your workout/s shoudl be in the TR folder.
Also, only the current dayâs workout, if there is one, will show up in the âFor Youâ carousel.
Why is my TR calendar not syncing across to my Zwift account. Iâve followed the steps and tried various other things but nothing helps.
I have a IPhone, Apple TV and Tacx Neo T2
so would like to stet it up using that.
Have you checked both apps (TR and Zwift) to ensure that they are connected to each other? Do you see the Zwift âZâ underneath any upcoming workouts in the TR calendar? Do you see the TR folder in Zwift, in the Custom Workouts tab?
Very kind of you. My point was more that there are almost certainly financial entanglements between the two companies now. Else ZHQ wouldnât be reserving fixes for intentionally-introduced bugs for subscribers with their new partner.
I dont see the TR kit in my garage. Are we supposed to get one?
I verified TR is connected to Zwift and vice versa. I confirmed that a TR workout loaded onto my TR calendar is loaded into Zwift. Do I need to complete a workout to get it?
Did you look through the entire list of kit available in your garage? The TR kit doesnât seem to elicit the red notification dot, and you may need to scroll all the way to the bottom to find it.
Lots of companies have partnered with other companies. This does not signify in any way, though, that they plan to offer discounts to customers or that they have any sort of legal connection. It simply means they have worked together to achieve some sort of benefit or synergy to their customers and/or investors. (I suppose it could benefit employees, also, but that seems less likely.)
Iâm simply speaking to the reality of the situation. Anyone expecting a bundled pricing deal isnât likely to see one, unless Z and TR announce an acquisition or merger (different than a partnership).
TrainerRoad launched in 2011, preceding Zwift (2014). Some athletes, including myself, have been using both for a long time. Those who doâwhether they bundle or notâwill likely continue using both, even though TrainingPeaks/IndieVelo cost 1/3 as much. But that group is a minority and already customers of both.
At this point, neither the hardcore TrainerRoad user will add/switch to Zwift, nor will the dedicated Zwifter add/jump to TrainerRoad without a strong incentiveâif they were going to, they would have done it by now -in a shirking/stagnated industry.
I dont see how that impacts the end consumer? Are you saying that anyone who previously ate doritos and taco bell should get the doritos taco at a lower price than everyone else?
Also, this is a rather strange rabbit hole Iâve taken us down and apologize for derailing this thread.
My problem is that Zwift introduced a bug 3 years ago that was immediately noticed and asked to be fixed by the community. Zwift did nothing but make snarky remarks to people asking about the issue, until 3 years later they come out with the fix but only for people paying for a subscription to a different, partnered-with-Zwift, service.
It is definitely interesting. And it has to be something beyond just being a native Zwift workout (or even something created in a different app and saved to a userâs Zwift workout folder), because workouts Iâve created in TrainingPeaks that are pushed to Zwift (seemingly similar to the way the TrainerRoad workouts are) are still rounded to the nearest 5 watts.
