Problem right now. Free ride power meter is low. Only work ok in workout with ERG mode on. Elite rampa + win10. Test ant+, with bluetooth, pc and celphone, not work. Same problem. Work only in workou with ERG mode. Start problem today, in middle my free ride Watopia.
Not a problem since the update until yesterday. In the same sesion I did both races of this week Fun is Flat, no problems there, but when I joined the TT series race the trainer stopped âfeelingâ the incline, same resistance in all terrain. I tried to reset the pairing of the trainer, change the riding difficulty, close Zwift (with and without the trainer apired), and the trainer was not âfeelingâ the incline. Any idea that if this is related with all the problems of this update?
Trainer Tacks Neo 2, connected by ANT+ to a PC with Windows 10. Did not try bluetooth connection.
Patch installed today.
Trainer is Tacx Neo 2.
Now Zwift always crashes after 30 seconds, both in Windows 10 and in Mac Os (in windows sometimes freezes, sometimes blue screen - critical failure).
Another workout ruined. Great!! And we are paying for this.
Zwift get your act together! Test stuff before releasing to a community of paying users! Show some respect!
Mac Os now working after a new install, Windows still crashing, after a new install now it doesnât even load properly, blue screens every time.
This is what I get when trying to start Zwift:
@Carlos_Santos4
Your photo makes me think this is a graphics driver issue. You may want to check for the latest driver from the GPUâs manufacturer, rather than the driver automatically loaded by Windows Update.
Thank you. Will do. But all was fine until 1.33 came along.
Even small software updates can sometimes end up messing with things like driver compatibility. Have had it happen with video games in the pastâinstall the game, works fine, install the company-provided patch with new missions, etcâŚdown goes Frazier!
Nothing to do?
So, since the 1.33 update and following updates my Zwift is still messed up.
During last 2 rides, something is off.
Iâm in a different range of bigger gears, my cadence is higher, yet iâm not seeing bigger power numbers.
Iâve tried pairing with ANT+ and Bluetooth, result is stays the same.
So either it is still a resistance problem or a trainer difficulty issue.
Come on Zwift, fix this allready!!
Since update the resistance has been terrible on my new Kickr v5 often getting high resistance on low grades and on descents (group rides/sim). Today I tried âpre training planâ and erg was stable but stronger resistance than my older Kickr 17 would put out.
Have you guys tried a spin down or even a factory spin down?
It all depend on what your needs and budget are. If you are happy with the current trainer and want something a bit more accurate but not brake the bank you can look for a use kurt kinetic fluid trainer they have a nice power curve
Same for me. Almost in the hardest gear to maintain threshold effort where before I was more towards the middle of the cassette.
This is not solved
Free-riding/events - anything at 0% gradient I spinout regularly. Sitting at say 40kph on the flat with Coco used to be around sitting in middle of cassette on the flats with my normal 70-75rpm - now Iâm in 11t
Workouts are broken too - in my Z2 workout for example, I have almost zero resistance up anything more than 4% incline, and opposite going down - with ERG on. Workouts are only correct on flat roads.
I donât generate power at lower cadence anymore and stop moving (unsure why I took actual photo and not Zwift photo ⌠doh) - thats a 0 to -2% gradient.
No difference between BT//ANT+, WIN10 with all updates. TD setting doesnât impact issues. Factory spin-downs do nothing. 2 Kickrs doing same thing.
Only useable function left that is working normally is workouts on the flats.
Since latest update, there is no resistance climbing, can go up a 17% in highest gear on the big ring, whatâs the problem
Resistance issues with kickr bike/android.
Main issue is at neutral incline (0%). No resistance at all there. Seems to kick in on incline/ decline but not aways in the right direction ie uphill gets easier before then getting harder.
Sometime on an incline the resistance drops out suddenly and then comes back again.
Refer to my .fit file from my two morning rides today 11/feb/23
I had the same issues. The resistance working the opposite way it should on incline/decline, and resistance dropping out on long climbs and then coming back again. Those issues seem to have sorted themselves out (somehow) but now I have the problem with the base resistance in general on the flats just isnt enough anymore. Almost in the hardest gear just to maintain threshold power - Unable to sprint properly anymore, the resistance just isnât there.
Like someone else said, there should be an option for a virtual cassette - a slider bar setting to adjust the base resistance.
Experienced strange trainer and rider feeling yesterday. Joined a robopacer and the first 10 minutes my avatar refused to spin his legs. As soon as we hit an intersection, avatar started pedaling.
However, I experienced strange resistance issues while riding in the pack. It felt like riding without the group on flat ground. Resistance didnât increase or decrease while ascending/descending, but my Kickr Climb did adjust its height.
Trainer difficulty is still set to 50% nothing has changed here.
Been having some strange behavior at least for the last 2 or 3 days. When I start a ride, the resistance seems to fluctuate â but generally harder than it should be. The power reading is way lower as it should be. Then after about a minute or minute and a half, it finally settles down to the resistance level and power readings I expect.
Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour recently?
Hardware:
Windows 10 PC with ANT+ Dongle
Elite Suito trainer
Same here with TruTrainer regarding resistance being off or not responding at all as of about 2/7 thru today. Windows 11 and using ant+ fec for control of gradient. Assiomas for power. Gradient changes were fine even through the January update problem then suddenly not earlier in Feb.
