People really care that much IRL group rides about what others ride??? So many things wrong with that statement. Races I get, but rides are rides, people need to chill in group rides be that IRL or Zwift.
What sort of group rides are you thinking about where people can get disqualified? Disqualified from what? Races, sure. But group rides? āGroup Rideā as Iām used to the term is literally just a group of people. Riding. Thereās nothing to be disqualified from. Same with the Tour going on here, right?
Can I select a TOMI route in the old UI (Android) to free ride even when Makuri is not a guest world? I havenāt looked yet, donāt have my tablet on me right nowā¦
You can choose a route in an off-calendar guest world by starting a workout. I have a custom workout with only a 10 second free ride segment for this, but any workout will do it (turn off ERG mode). The workout ends and you keep riding the route.

Maybe create a club on Companion app and then organise an event like a workout, on routes of your choice?
Looking at the scheduled routes for Tour of Makuri and Race Makuri, thereās no overlap so far. Itās possible that might change when the Urukazi routes are announced, tho.
Is it possible to complete Tri acadamy workouts on the tour of Makuri Island routes and get credit for completing both??
As long as you complete a lap on the correct route.
Stage 1 overlappedāthatās how I found out about the Tour, by jumping into the Race and being told at the end that Iād unlocked the Tour stage.
Guess I missed the Castle to Castle connection because I did the Race Makuri stage before ToML started, so it didnāt count. But the other stages of either donāt mesh.
Thatās what I was seeing too about the other stages. I was hoping they would overlap more. Although the group ride for Stage 2 was more of a group Race, the only difference being that you had to self-select for cat

does anyone know when the last two stages will be available ? From the home screen it seems to be on 9th of November and here in Europe itās already the 9th Nov. Is it time zone independant ? If so, when can we expect them to be available ?

The dates that we see in the App/FAQ mentioning 9th dont seem to be auto-adjusted to our local time zones (Iām only a couple of hours away from being 10th) so Iām guessing that they are Zwift HQ time. I believe we need an update to open up the routes so Iād guess thatās another 12hours or so away minimum, that is assuming they are on schedule packaging everything up that goes into the update.
I was going to reply similarly about a need for a game update, which usually comes in around now.
However I donāt know whether new routes could have been placed/embedded in previous game update and somehow held back by date. On another post somewhere I saw four new route names mentioned, not sure if someone was having a bit of fun or had seen them in some code ?
Iām not sure where I saw that the update was required but fairly certain it was either someone like James or Eric@ZI (caveat: that could well have been my post-ride beers getting the better of me again!) . They are certainly doing more server side changes these days (great!) but I guess we will know soon enough.
Edit: @Oliver_ZRace_Central has some good speculation on his web page that the routes will be tied in with a release and also the calendar change (Makuri comes online 9th and 20th this month) but only time will tell.
BTW, how is one supposed to find event homepages like Tour of Makuri Islands without having the direct link? Another example: Zwift racing. They should be clearly visible linked from the Zwift.com homepage. The official Zwift homepage is a mess and IMO needs a complete overhaul.
