Both. It happened to me and others, so was looking to notify Zwift that there was a bug in their programming somewhere so they could fix it. Also, I don’t want credit for something I didn’t do. I may get around to doing stage 1 during the makeup week, but never know since I am mostly riding outdoors this time of year in the snow. I don’t consider workarounds as a solution to a problem. It is a way to get by in the meantime, but the problem should still be fixed.
I agree in general, just never sure how much people are aware of things like the makeup week.
I likes fixes over solutions too, but that’s why I asked what you were looking for a solution to, specifically. If the problem as you see it is ‘getting undue credit’, then doing Stage 1 later isn’t a workaround, it’s a solution. If the problem is ‘there’s a bug’, then doing the stage later is a workaround
Where there are multiple problems, it’s both. But yeah, getting rid of bugs is good.
Completed Stage 5: C group ride (2 laps of Innsbrucking rouyte) and was awarded the route completion for Achterbahn (which is the A route).
Pretty sure I’ve never done that route before (2 times up the big climb isn’t something I’d do given the choice)
Joined the pen for a stage 5 event and got the event completion ticked off more than 20 minutes before event start time. I checked completion status in Companion and the website before signing up.
I’ve received 3 route badges in error from TdZ 2024 events: Achterbahn, Petit Boucle and Triple Loops. I haven’t ridden any of these before. These were all A (long) routes. I did the B (standard) or C (short) events.
Shame PRL Full wasn’t an A route. That bug would be the only way I’d ever get that badge.
I think the longer races are great as well. More of them please. 60-90min is a good length especially with some hills that hurt.
That’s the London route isn’t it? I’ve seen that and no way I’d do that. Even the triple loops was enough.
This morning’s ride up the Alpe on TdZ does not show in my feed and is not uploaded to Strava either.
Looking at the raw fit file, there is only 1kb of data recorded. The tour tracker on my account is showing as completed however. It’s the only proof I have of having done the stage!
Another funky issue during this ride was that I couldn’t give or receive any ride ons. My avatar’s jersey pockets never filled up.
Almost like I was a ghost.
Anyone else seen this and is there anything that can be done to recover the ride?
But you could see other avatars around you? Odd.
Today TdZ ride stage 6 @11.02 a.m on C.
Uploaded on Strava, Companion app ok with new pr on vulcano climb, but not present me on ZP.
At the kom banner ride doesn’t finished.
Anyone with same problem ?
Yeah Tom, totally bizarre.
I had a network connection hiccup at the beginning of the day but was resolved before the ride started.
Screenshot of mid ride. Everything appears fine but I have no ride ons in my jersey and can’t dish any out.
I had something similar with ride ons the other day. Did a force stop on the Companion App and all was well.
Legends and Lava has a longstanding bug
Why is my Stage 6 result not showing on Zwiftpower? I’ve never had a result not appear after a race/ride and it doesn’t show today? The event was Stage 6C at 4 pm eastern today. I was first and it shows up in my feed but not on Zwiftpower for some reason?
See above
I see, so it’s a bug for some and not others. And so my result is, no doubt, gone, never to be heard from again. Thanks Zwift!
If you contact support they may give you credit for it. Personally I would just repeat with a different route in stage 6 but if that’s not practical for you then asking support is the way.
I won’t bother because it’s become obvious they don’t care about longstanding users. Even trying to contact support seems challenging.
I was surprised to see crowds on the side of the road in Watopia.
I don’t do a lot of group rides or races.
Has that happened before?
Yes contacting support is challenging, which is bad. It shifts the burden to users when the fault is with the company. But I think they do care. They just make mistakes. You decide if it’s worth it to do the work to tell them. I’m sure they’re getting reports about this, but they should get more of that.
