Hey! I’m currently waiting for my zwift ride to arrive and i already have my kickr core. What I do not have is the thru axle adapters, more specifially I dont have the end cap adapter, only the part where it says 142 and 148. Do I need the end cap to mount? I currently use quick release on my bike, so i dont have any experience with through-axle.
Yes you need that. You could try contacting Wahoo support to see if they want to send you the parts you need, but someone else asked me about sourcing these recently because Wahoo showed them as sold out and I found they are apparently in stock on Amazon.
Welcome to forums, this is Haziel part of the Zwift Support team, as Paul mentioned yes you need the adapters for the Wahoo Kicker to make it work with the Zwift Ride, please check this article Setting Up Your Zwift Ride Smart Frame, for information about how to install the adapters, please be aware that if you have quick release adapters installed on your trainer you’ll need to remove them and install thru-axle adapters.
