Zwift Companion Home Screen Refresh

Coming this October

Zwift Companion is getting a makeover, making your favorite companion even easier to use.

Coming throughout Fall and Winter 2026

New bikes and wheels are headed to the Drop Shop, including a Kona-themed triathlon collection, bikes and wheels from Factor and Black Inc, and a Zwift x Pinarello paint scheme.

Two new Halo Bikes from Canyon and Cervélo are coming to the Drop Shop!

Workout Library Updates

Coming October 2026

The Workout Library is getting a refreshed look, along with more options in each collection.

On red recovery days, Zwift will automatically adjust its recommendations so you can still complete a meaningful session without overreaching.

Coming October 5

Tour of Watopia is back for 2026 with a five-stage tour and the return of the Ultimate Challenge!

Complete each stage your way through Group Rides, Races, or On-Demand Routes, all with Double XP. Take on the Ultimate Challenge by completing 15 routes across five stages to earn the ultimate unlock.

Nothing on Gravel Mountain ???

Zwift Ride 2 still not compatible with Tacx Neo 3m? :downcast_face_with_sweat:

Correct, there is presently nothing on gravel mountain, other than gravel.

I might have some news about something else being on gravel mountain later on today though.

Thats a bit disappointing. Was hoping it would come back. These seasons on Zwift messages never get me excited and often dont include things I would like to see.
But you can never please everyone I guess.

But 20 new routes on 18km of new roads sound a lot like the NYC expansion where we got to ride that parc 20 times in 5 of the same routes.

Tour of Watopia I like.

New Halo bikes, still dont have one and probably wont get the new ones.l Not worth it drops wise. 20M is way too much.
New Frames. Perhaps, but that also gets pricy and kinda a waste of previous upgrades which we cant sell still.
ZCA and Workout look refresh … cant get happy from that.
Dont use WHOOP so …
Watt Lock can be usefull but I can get the same doing a workout in ERG at the moment and just doing 30min of zone 2.

But this will make a nice new Wishlist 2027 on Zwift topic.

Did you read the second line of my post?

I have never known you to actually be happy…

TBH this opens up another part of Watopia quite nicely.

Events and other special ideas I like very much. Like those Sunday races you invented. 10 races or the shortest routes. That one month of racing each day we had last year. All of the tours/Spin events I like.
But you are right, perhaps I am not really the target for these season messages. Having all the frames I need upgraded to level 5, done all the routes. I would rather see smaller changes which would make the Zwift experience better. But I also understand those are unlikely. But still get disappointed sometimes. And we cant have only cheers and happy people here in the forum of course

See, this is why we need this smiley :joy:

I think you will like the Novmber Epic series

I reminded myself to keep expectations low to avoid disappointment here, but this has to be one of the better TSOZs in my five years on the platform. Pretty excited for some of this stuff, just hope the companion Home Screen is an improvement. The screenshot shows less of what I want to see than how it is at present but it also looks like a weekly training plan tracker and not a generic Home Screen

Awesome! Admittedly I couldn’t care less about most of these updates except for one, and that one is HUGE for me. Watt Lock.

It looks like I have a reason to keep Zwift, which I was considering dropping after this year because the gaming aspects have far exceeded the training value for quite some time. This is a feature I’ve been requesting for eons. It is the best thing in TrainingPeaks Virtual has made it much better for my training (aside from their highly-configurable UI). I just wish you would allow it in ALL rides, not just Free Rides. Many group rides allow for “flying”, and sometimes people may want to take it easier but not too easy, this could force a target even if they’re off the back.

I love forcing myself to target power regardless of cadence. It makes me put in the effort as I want to without having to pay attention to it.

I have been doing this on Zwift by using external control to override the built-in control for quite some time, particularly during “banded” rides when I want more resistance than the game is providing.

Please let us use this feature always, outside of workouts. Please.

I think it would be quite pointless if it was only available in workouts.

I’m not holding my breath on the new Watopia roads including a Strava category 3 or 4 climb. :frowning:

That is really cool! Any more opportunities to collect drops faster on the horizon? Like the spring farming challenges earlier this year

Yes, although not to the same extent as repeatedly u-turning on a sprint.

No KOMs on this one.

What I mean is that, this is most likely not allowed during workouts because it is already a different ERG Mode. Setting Watt Lock during a Workout would be a sure way to miss the workout blocks.

The wording on it “Free Ride” is what I’m trying to justify, as long as you’re not any workout, we should have the option to access Watt Lock regardless of Free Ride, in any ride, Event or otherwise. It should be accessible always whenever the trainer would otherwise be in SIM Mode.

I suppose Zwift could also make it inaccessible during races, but you still have to put in the work when using it.

I’m guessing one is a Cervélo Baracchi
