Connect WHOOP to Zwift and View Your Recovery

Hi Zwifters,

WHOOP is a wearable health and fitness platform that tracks metrics such as sleep, strain, and recovery, providing personalized insights into how your body is responding to training and everyday life.

Many Zwifters already use WHOOP to broadcast their heart rate and pair it as a heart rate monitor during activities. Now, Zwift’s support for WHOOP goes a step further: WHOOP members can connect their account to Zwift and view their daily Recovery score directly in the Zwift Companion app.

Once connected, Zwift can also use your Recovery score to adapt your personalized recommendations to better fit your needs each day.

View Your WHOOP Recovery Score

Once connected, your WHOOP Recovery score will appear at the bottom of the Fitness Trends section in the Zwift Companion app.

Your score will refresh in Zwift whenever it is updated in WHOOP. For example, if WHOOP calculates a score during the night and updates it after you return to sleep, the latest score will also appear in Zwift Companion.

If you don’t have a WHOOP Recovery score for a particular day, the score will appear blank in Zwift Companion.

You can connect or disconnect your WHOOP account through Zwift Web or the Zwift Companion app by navigating to the connections page. See this article for more information on how to connect and disconnect.
