This Season on Zwift [September 2025]

We are excited to share the amazing new features coming This Season on Zwift:

Personalized Recommendations
Coming this November

Personalized Recommendations are designed to make it easier to choose your next ride activity and ensure that the activity helps you meet your personal goals. Using AI, Zwift will recommend a variety of different content types to choose from based on your personal riding history, including your weekly goal, current activity level, and ride history.

Auto-Adjusted Goals
Coming this September

Now you can opt-in to having your Goal auto-adjust over time. Using the last several weeks of your goal history, the toggle adjusts your upcoming weekly target goal to encourage continuous improvement.

Event Cool Down
Live Now!

Fun shouldn’t stop when you cross the finish line. Zwifters will be able to continue riding in the event world with their fellow event participants, allowing them to continue the fun and conversation as they cool down. You can return to the public world at any time.

New Power Segments
Coming October 27

Power Segments are a new take on Zwift’s sprint segments. These segments will rank Zwifters based on average power sustained through the segment, instead of time—this will be a real test of anaerobic strength!

New York Expansion
Coming October 27

The New York expansion will expand the existing futuristic New York map, taking Zwifters to new areas outside of Central Park. Expect faster, flatter roads with this expansion.

Zwift Camp: Baseline
Coming September 15

Zwift Camp baseline is the first of three Zwift Camp training programs that will run over the winter months. Zwift Camp: Baseline will include a series of tests designed to help Zwifters find their baseline fitness to get ready for the training to come.

Zwift Unlocked
Coming this Fall

Zwift Unlocked is Zwift’s newest tour, bringing new routes, new unlocks, and a new expansion! Zwifters participating in Zwift Unlocked will also benefit from Double XP.

Stay tuned as the features are released for more details!

3 posts were merged into an existing topic: Announcing New Zwift Click and Zwift Cog Bundle [September 2025]

Some interesting stuff here. Pretty substantial expansion too. And nice to see Zwift chasing some manufacturer dollars, hopefully that keeps the platform in the black without needing to raise subscription rates.

Can the auto-goals be turned off? That is, no goals at all.

Including Event Cool Down is kinda like me adding something to a to-do list that I’ve already done just so I can cross it off right away and feel good about myself.

Agree to disagree.
I would argue the product was a success; but may not have worked for everyone in every situation.

Not entirely sure I call these clicks a successor, but certainly handy additions; particularly to users with unusual bar setups like Tri’s or Wattbikes for example.

Happy to see an old world finally get an expansion. Hope to see the others come not so far behind.
How old is NY now?.. oh…
Actually don’t look it up.

Hoping Innsbruck isn’t too far behind, it’s broken in MANY ways right now after doing Achterban the other night; lots of.. holes.

Blown away there’s not a peep about club stuff that was shared at Mallorca.

what stuff?

Clubs is still very much a low priority for zwift. The fitness/Ai is much more the focus by the look of it.

@manda_F What will happen with the Zwift Play will they also get an upgrade or are they retired? Because they have been out of stock for a long time

**Personalized Recommendations**

0/10 - Wont ever use this I know what I want to do when I start up Zwift. Dont need some AI to tell me what I want to do.

**Auto-Adjusted Goals**

0/10 - Dont want goals, dont need goals, so a turn all this off option would be nice.

**Event Cool Down**

3/10 - Sometimes nice to be able to chat a bit longer, but its already in the game and hardly use it, so nothing to look forward to here.

**New Power Segments**

6/10 - Can be nice but we will see riders changing weight just to get the power levels. So as long as that doesnt get tackeled it is of no use.

**New York Expansion**

2/10 - Hate New York map with a passion so doubt new roads will change that.

**Zwift Camp: Baseline**

5/10 - Was kinda fun last year, but not much than that.

**Zwift Unlocked**

6/10 - a bit vague what this exactly is but will give it the benefit of the doubt.

Overla a pretty lousy roadmap. And no mention on the things that were promised last year and never put into the game …

NY expansion sounds awesome. 31km of new roads is a big one. Really looking forward to that. Let’s watch The Warriors to prepare.

Icons at a minimum were a major mention, along with better control over things for non club owners (ie control over settings that continue to require emailing zwifthq to be edited)

Yikes Peter, maybe go for a ride outside and enjoy the smell of the trash cans being picked up.
There’s at least mention of NY getting flat roads, everyone on Zwift likes flat things.

Guessing “Unlocked” is just another event like Big Spin or one of the Tour events via mention of double XP.

But we like to see the words “new routes”; assuming it’s additional to the ones being added with NY expansion.

Gotta bear in mind news like this is NOT for us here on the forum; this is for the people that ride once a week or less.

IMO pretty happy with the list.
Curious to see the AI slop though; if it’s even AI in the first place (it probably isn’t)

Zwift Play from a performance point of view were much better (bigger buttons and more gap between them). I think that having so many button without space between them will make easier to push the wrong button when you are at 190bpm like when racing.

with the greatest possible respect to mr llama… tldw? are they just like a new version or what. they look like they do the same thing

Not much use when you are at level 100

the engineer in me thinks the v1 controllers are a better bit of R+D, to be honest.

I know, but that doesnt change the fact that I am pretty disappointed, as expected though but there was a little bit of hope that they would even surprise me.

But seriously, out of all of the worlds…Future NYC?

Richmond, Bologna, Innsbruck, France, pretty much everything short of Watopia but I wouldn’t complain about that too one either.

A huge one is they’re single connection point only.

So no Left/Right // 2 BLE connection points used.

ahh. yeah that is an improvement. since losing one of them kills your steering anyway
