This Season On Zwift [April 2025]

It says “outdoor riding data” so it’s possible that indoor activities captured on those devices will not count.

It still feels like shortcut to get to ZWIFT Level 100 while in fact it is RIDE Level.

On the other hand, there is a simple workaround - to keep the connection to Garmin disabled - which is my case. That way my Zwift level will really be representative of the rides that I did on Zwift.

Now, what about running outside and it counting towards Zwift Run Level?

Looks like there will be 9 new route badges in France, and 2 additional running route badges.

Great to see that you’re adding the ability to sync rides!

Is there a plan to include rides from RideWithGPS? Love me some XP but certainly don’t want to buy Yet Another Device to get them.

Being able to turn on and off different parts of the HUD would be awesome…yes another indoor bike platform has done that recently, but imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Sounds exciting! Cool that France is getting expanded. The Scotty themed-Streak milestones are also nice as well as the new metrics and other features.
Ride On, Zwift!

VEN 10.
Oh no😭

And to keep you paying for zwift during the summer months.

Will we have gear changing indicator for Kickr bike 1 @manda_F ?

Not ten times, ten kilometers.
It’s not in the right spot.

I’ve been told no several times, Wahoo’s choice.

But other apps can show gears for older KICKR, so this is 100% on Zwift, not Wahoo.

This came up in support tickets related to multiple electronic failures on v1s. 7 set of bars and 2 bikes already. So maybe there is too much load or concern related to zwift.

There is a thread here where you can use an ESP32 device to capture the BT signal from a KICKR BIKE v1 to show gear display. I did it myself for the KICKR SHIFT before Zwift was showing gears in game.
Zwift could do that easily if they wanted to.
They choose not to.
It is NOT a Wahoo issue.

I’ve had a Wahoo employee tell me it’s literally a Zwift choice lol

(whispers) they get power data from outdoor riders who return to race when the weather gets bad

Ohhhh that is nice. No more ZRS flaws when they return.

No more flaws than there already are.

There’s no need for ZRS to reset if you’re away for a while. It shouldn’t be like returning riders in CE.
The floor would drop away with no recent power, so people who have lost fitness can lose races to drop down. And people who want to pretend they’ve lost fitness can do the same.

It certainly doesn’t solve enough problems to fix ZRS but there are situations where it helps, like people new to racing or getting their floor up, and there are still CE races. Overall incremental positive.

Let’s add “…, as well as all other activities”.
