Swapping between Imperial / Metric distance might let you double dip on EXP

On some ride formats, if you continually toggle your measurements between imperial and metric, you can effectively “double dip” on EXP points.

Example, “You hit 1km and get your +20exp. Quickly change to imperial and you’ll get +32exp for your 1.6 miles.

My question: Is this purely a graphical notification of the exp you continuously accrue as you cover distance, or are these incremental bonuses every time you hit that mileage? If it’s the latter than this can be abused to accelerate EXP earning.

A QA test worthy of @GregRajkovic :+1:t2:

I work in QA too, so this tickled my testing brain when I seen it

The distance units are on different intervals so it has to work this way, unless they want to give micro-XP per nanometer of movement, which they don’t.

For what it’s worth, the environment moves and your avatar stays stationary.

You’re really getting that XP bonus for the distance your avatar is able to move the world around you. :flexed_biceps: :leg:
