Sprints and Koms

HI All
The two options i would like to see in Zwift is the ability to turn off sprints and koms.
I think they just spoil most ride’s.
Many Thank’s
Andrew

Hi everyone and @Andrew_Bain, welcome back to the forums!

This is Monica from the Zwift team. I understand how important it is for you to have the option to turn off sprints and KOMs on our platform, as they might interfere the riding experience. While Zwift doesn’t currently offer a complete toggle for these features, you can still minimize their impact by focusing on personal goals and choosing group rides that don’t prioritize them.

Here are some ways you can approach this:

  • Focus on Personal Goals:
Instead of concentrating on winning sprints or chasing KOMs, prioritize your training objectives, such as improving endurance, strength, or specific skills.

  • Join Group Rides with Different Focuses:
Look for group rides that emphasize social riding or specific training plans rather than racing.

  • Utilize Zwift’s Features:
You can use Zwift’s “HoloReplay” feature to race against your own personal bests or pace yourself, which can be a great alternative to racing against others.

  • When it comes to leaderboards, you have the option to select either “Auto” or “Always” in the settings. It can be a bit confusing, as the distinction between the two isn’t clear to many of us. If you’re feeling uncertain, you’re definitely not alone!

Additionally, you can hide the entire HUD if you prefer a more immersive experience. Just keep in mind that while all other information will disappear from your screen, the sprint and KOM banners will still be visible. If your goal is to completely declutter your display, this might not fully meet your needs.

I hope this helps clarify a few things! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Sorry, but this is just incorrect.

@Andrew_Bain You can choose either “Auto” or “Always” for the leaderboards in the settings, and honestly I have no idea what the difference is between the two settings.

You can hide the entire HUD which will turn off all the information from the screen, but doesn’t remove sprint and KOM banners from the game if that is what you are asking to do.

Really ? Since when is there an complete off setting there ? I wanted to turn that off for ages. Where can I find that setting ?

I was wrong, it is only the Holoreplay that you can either show or hide from the leaderboard. I will edit my other post

Please make that happen. All these new things are nice, but please also provide with an off button for the ones who dont want to see it.

Hi All
Thank you all for the suggestions. I have done everything in settings i can. That’s why i am posting in the hope i can get rid of them. I have tried the clear screen from the companion app it’s just abit to bare of no metrics at all.
Many Thank’s
Andrew

Yeah it’s a legit feature request. The stuff you’re hearing from the Zwift accounts here is not responsive to your request.

Are they even real people ? Most of the times it looks like some AI ChatGPT kinda bot.

I think Auto will pop out the leaderboard as you approach a segment or KOM.
Always will have it displayed all the time.

I think they are a great training tool that teach restraint and sticking to the plan…
