Spotify on Apple TV [tvOS 18]

Same issue since upgrade to tvOS 18.0. Spotify keeps playing in the background with other apps. Surprisingly Apples Music keeps playing in the background with Zwift.

I will try the workaround from above.

This started to happen to me this morning. I do not want to change my sound to “stereo” on the audio format because the primary use for my Apple TV with the family is in the home theater. Is there any better solution yet?
