Solo Mode

As much as I enjoy the competition, it would be good from time to time to select a solo mode (ie have the island to myself) that allows me to ride at my own pace. Even with the best intentions, I can’t resist trying to catch someone who has just passed me and so my pace is always higher than intended.

Not for me. I find it a bit lonely when there are not many riders on the loop.

Much prefer when there are others to either keep up with or even try to for a short time. If I want to do a strict ride then I just put it into a pre set power level on TrainerRoad and pedal away in ERG mode.

Let’s expand on this.  Never tested it, but what if your Internet connection is down?  Can you still use Zwift in an offline mode, which presumably amounts to the “solo” mode Graham suggested?

I sometimes get an interruption if the phone goes and the other riders disappear so I think it could work. Maybe just hook back up to connect before saving.

That’s happened to me too. If I remember correctly, as long as you close the ride by clicking “I’m done” you still get the .fit (activity) file saved to disc regardless of being back on line.
