I bought my frame ride 1 day ao but it doesn’t work. I did the firmware update on Companion and it detects both (sx 92F6 and the dx A4A5).
When I go to the zwift program and want to detect my Ride, it only finds the left 92F6 and won’t let me select it. The right hand can’t find it and yet the blue lights both flash.

Which trainer do you have? You need a trainer that supports virtual shifting (some don’t) and the trainer may need to have updated firmware for it to work. The trainer must be paired via Bluetooth so avoid using ANT+ when troubleshooting.
Hi, as a trainer I have elite directo xr and as a program (as you can see in the photo) I use Zwift. What does the roller have to do with the laugh controls?
Your trainer does not support Zwift virtual shifting which is why the controls will not pair. Elite needs to release a firmware update which they said they will do this winter. Last week they apparently leaked the announcement and then removed it. It mentioned a date of 9 Dec, so it seems likely it will be available soon, but that date is not a promise.
Ok thanks for your tip, but I had asked before ordering the bike. I was told that by ordering the Zwift Cog and Click Upgrade Kit I could install on my reel elite directo xr.

Who told you and what did they say? The Direto XR sold with the Cog and Click as a bundle already has the new firmware. Existing Direto owners are still waiting for it.
You’re right, I just reread the email. You don’t understand the English and the Italian translation. However the frame ride doesn’t work but the cog click is compatible. So I will use the cog click (which I have already purchased) and wait for the update on the elite roller for the frame ride. Thank you for your patience. Now I understand the problem
No you can’t use either the Click or the Ride controls until you get the firmware because they both require virtual shifting in the trainer firmware.
You are not the only person who didn’t understand this. I have been telling them to make the documents more clear.

Today is December 9, do you happen to know if there is any news about the firmware update for the elite xr roller without the pre-installed cog? I fixed it with that info you gave me but if everything worked without kissing it would be better.
Write me when you have news. Zwift’s support just tells me it doesn’t work but they don’t tell me if and when they will do an upgrade for the elite roller.

I haven’t heard anything yet. I wouldn’t ask Zwift for that info since it would be better to get it from Elite support. Hopefully if anyone hears anything they will post it on this topic:
