Hi everyone, I bought zwift cog and click and after installing it on my Élite direct XT-R trainer, zwift does not read the device in the “commands” section. I would like to point out that I have already updated “click” from zwift companion.
If that’s your existing trainer and not the one that Elite sell bundled with the Cog, then you need a firmware update which hasn’t been released yet by Elite. So you’ve jumped the gun.
do you know when it will come out?
They haven’t announced a date yet but they confirmed that they’re working on it.
I use the same trainer (i.e. Elite Direto XR-T) and experience the same issues despite having downloaded all the updates and reinstalled the Zwift app on my Apple TV. It is still impossible to connect the Cog and the Click via the Companion app to the Zwift set-up on my Apple TV. I have reached out to Zwift suport team several times, but responses are slow and to no good use. Is this still down to Elite not yet releasing the neccessary updates for the Elite Direto trainer, or something wrong at Zwift’s end?
The necessary firmware update for the XR and XR-T is now available via Elite’s Upgrado app. What version of firmware are you running on your XR-T?
Great tip Steve! I have updated the version from Upgrado and now the Cluck seems to connect as it should! Thank you!
