Hello!
Oddly, this week my 400m repeats are way too fast in Zwift as compared to the goal pace of 4 min in Training peaks. Has me running a 3:20 pace in Zwift. How do I marry these up?
Hi @Wendy_Britton, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
That’s definitely odd! Normally, your TrainingPeaks workout should sync to Zwift at the correct pace, so seeing a big difference like that isn’t expected.
A few things you might want to test out:
If the intensity (FTP bias) in Zwift is adjusted above 100%, that could be affecting your pace. Try setting it to 100% and see if that aligns better as test.
Are your intervals set to pace, speed, or power in TrainingPeaks?
Sometimes, different workout structures can cause mismatches in Zwift.
A workaround some users use is manually tweaking the workout file before importing it to Zwift. You can check out this Zwift Insider guide for more details on that.
If your workouts usually sync correctly but this one seems off, it might be worth re-syncing TrainingPeaks with Zwift just in case. You can try disconnecting and reconnecting TrainingPeaks from Zwift and see if that get this straightened out.
Hi there!
Thanks so much for responding. It was very very odd because it was working the previous week. The intervals in Training Peaks were set to a 4:00 min/km pace but it was appearing in Zwift at a 3:20 pace, which was not doable for me. I had 8 rounds of it so when I wasn’t able to hold pace it ended the workout…It was all very frustrating as I was trying to work my way through it.
I did try the disconnect then reconnection with zwift but it still didn’t work. I’m not sure what was going on or if there was something I could do to fix it.
