when this happened to me on a herd ride, everyone disappeared. ( it happened to others on this ride too) I rode for along time alone.
The strange thing was chat still worked and the others could see me.
I got “talked” through: faster-slower to stay with the yellow marker until they all reappeared !

I did everyone went AWOL for about 30 in on on a 7.5 hour herd fullPLR ride, (Chat still worked and they could see me) ( it also did not remember my course completion nor bonus drops, despite having given me completion banners whilst in game, which the log also showed)
The only reply was that I could not get the course badge nor drips due to “technical limitations”
Perhaps it would be good to iron out the bugs before introducing new features and courses?
ZWIFT - ur full of ■■■■; its got nothng to do with WIFI; im hard connected to PC; and this latest update, there was only 4 of us shown, and it said there were plenty others around; i check ZPlive, and none of us were present in the event, yet we were all solo TT.
i suggest you start hiring decent programmers
I sent my log files in to Shuji, but haven’t seen a reply (yet).
Is this being looked at? I should say, it hasn’t happened again 
@Shuji_Sakai Has a fix been found? I am experiencing this problem at the end of September, almost 3 months after you said it was being looked into so surely there is a fix by now, right?
This doesn’t have a quick fix. We are still investigating root causes.
I just had this today in the 3R Knickerbocker race. Wired internet connection running zwift on windows. I could see other riders’ avatars fine but the sidebar was just me, and “+x other riders…”. I wasn’t the only one with the issue - some others were complaining about the same issue in the chat.
Is it still under investigation @Shuji_Sakai ?

Same issue on todays race 3R Queens Highway race.
Me and all my friends had same problem so not a personal problem.
Same issue for me yesterday in “3R Classique Reverse Flat Race”.
Same issue hapenned to me tonight on ZRL TTT.
I’m running Zwift on Android
The riders list magically appeared 5 mins after the start of the race so I wasn’t able to catch up my team unfortunately.
I’ve also tried to switch from WiFi to 4G but didn’t solve the problem.
Zwift please fix ! It’s very frustrating
This happened to me today, too. Never had it happen before, and I race several times per week.
530 AM (MST) ZHQ Crit City Anti-Sandbagging race. Several other riders reported the same problem in the in-game chat during the race. And friends in my club also experienced it in the previous 48 hours in other races.

Same issue for me - nothing in a race then lost appeared when I rode afterwards in a nine race setting.
It has happened to me twice now in three days on two different events. Judging from this forum, the issue seems to have been around for some time so has any solution been found?
I decided to join a race for the sake of it and it happened again: no riders near me are displayed at the right of the screen but the road is full of riders participating and riders not participating in the race.
This only seems to happen in a race because in group riders I have had no issue. The issue is not related to a single device because I have experienced it on two different pc’s.
What is this bug?
I don’t buy this as being an internet issue. I’ve had the exact issue shown here for my last couple races and my internet is fantastic. Just ran a speed test 459.3 Mbps down and 8.76 up. If you can’t tell me who’s close by with that then there’s something wrong with Zwift
This started and was fixed a while back. Can only guess it’s back due to something that changed (or hasn’t been reset) during the recent period of downtime?
Is this fixed???I am having the same issues on my last 3 rides. I joined a event, see all the riders in the pre-race. But when the race starts everybody disappears. I dont even see riders on my companion app
