Resistance Spikes on Tacx Neo2T with Zwift cog and click

Hello there.

Is anyone experiencing regular resistance spikes with the 2T using the Zwift Cog (latest version).

I’ve just recently upgraded my 2T to use the Zwift cog and click controllers, which all connected fine and setup was a breeze. Whatever I’m doing in Zwift I seem to be getting very regular spikes in resistance marking it quite a bit harder to pedal, this will last a few second normally. The only time I don’t seem to get the spikes is when I’m on a 3+% incline and putting down some power.

I’ve uninstalled everything, checked every setting and tried different routes and workouts etc in Zwift, nothing is sorting the issue.

I’m finding it pretty unusable at the moment as it’s happening so often.

Thank you in advance, Mike.

I’m also having this issue with trainer difficulty set to zero there’s intermittent single resistance changes that feel like incline and decline changes even though it shouldn’t be happening with td set to zero

Hi

Garmin are looking into it for me but it’s defiantly the Zwift cog and virtual shifting having done a test ride with the cassette back on.

I have no idea what’s going on but I can’t seem to solve the issue, hopefully Garmin will come up with a plan.

Regards.

You are not alone. No Solution until now..

Garmin have closed my case saying it is the Zwift cog at fault, I mean, yeah suppose it is but the Neo2T can’t not be at fault somehow.

The problem is still driving me mad but I have no idea what to do.

FWIW: I use a Neo 2 with the Zwift Cog/Click (v2) and don’t have this issue at all. I presume you’ve checked to ensure your Clicks are on the latest firmware?

Yes, everything is fully up to date, reinstalled everything including cog, bike, software, etc etc etc. Nothing solves it sadly.
