I am a new user of Zwift App. I use the Wahoo Kickr Core. I just started with the tutorial “first steps” and did the “welcome ride” (german “Willkommensfahrt”" (it is the first ride with first instructions). In this “welcome ride” everything went fine: The power/watts were fine: With my highest gear on my bike, I did around 500 Watts.
After the “welcome ride” I am now trying other rides (first workout etc): The problem: In every other workout than “welcome ride” I am always at around 50W to 120W. Nevertheless, the hard I am riding: Even in my highest gear (biggest front chainring and at the back 11 pinion at cassette) on the bike with 90-100rpm, I am only at around 120W! The trainier applies no resistance! Why does the Zwift app only work in the “welcome ride” correct, but not in any other workout? Where is the error? What do I have to do? Kind regards, Christian
I’m sorry to hear that you are facing this situation, which is rare to know, my suggestion would be to perform a spindown on your trainer and perform a test after calibrating it, I share with you this article that explains how to do it.
Hi @Chris_M11 welcome to Zwift forums and Zwift more generally.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I peeked at your server logs and noticed you’re logging in to Zwift on a Samsung Z Flip 5 several times in a row with no log out in between. To the server, that can look like an app hang.
Always end your session by logging out of the app by saving-and-exiting (or trashing-and-exiting).
Additionally - on mobile OS’s, force-close the app rather than swiping it into the background. Here’s how.
Try those things please and let us know if that helps?
The solution was: I just has to press one time (!) the ERG-button. And thats it! After pressing the ERG-Button just one time, Zwift is working fine with reasonable resistance. I do not need to press ERG button again. Seems to be saved.
