Hi, for a couple of racing events my RS has not updated, not even when I get an up arrow or a down arrow.
We think it is because it is calculated with decimals and is published rounded.
For example, before the race I have 436.7 and in my profile it is shown rounded as 437. I do a race and the calculated RS is 437.2. Then the one published in my profile, rounded again would be 437.
Is this the behavior of the application or a bug?
I mention this because I have never read in your documentation that the RS had decimals.
I understand how confusing it can be to see that your results are not going up. I am happy to provide you with information on how this works, supporting what @Ian_Attoe told you, I will explain the following:
You’ll enter your first race using a seed score an estimated score based on your recent activity data. From then on, your score will be adjusted based on your results from each race. Your Racing Score will go up or down based on your finishing position, your competitors’ ability, the participant field size, and there’s a bonus for a podium finish. If you take a break from Zwifting, your Racing Score will decrease slightly to account for natural fitness declines and increased uncertainty. While your Racing Score can reduce, you won’t drop below your current floor value. Your floor value adjusts along with your fitness and is constantly evaluated based on your power bests across all of your recent activities in Zwift.
After having said this and reviewing your numbers, I see that you have had ups and downs in your last results, making your score today 438. I share this article with you for more information.
Hi @hampsta, welcome back to the forums! I’m Jose from Zwift.
I’m sorry to hear that your values didn’t change. I was reviewing your recent account activity and I see that there have been changes. The results generated are almost identical to the recent ones, keeping you at 291. Remember that your score will be adjusted based on your results from each race. Your Racing Score will go up or down based on your finishing position.
If you have any questions, you can also contact us at: support@zwift.com so we can review it further.
Thank you for taking a look.
My ZRS was 291 going into the race.
It was 291 after the race.
I know this because I keep a close eye on it and record all my results in a spreadsheet.
So I do not understand the down arrow.
