Why isn’t my zFTP, Pace Group or Racing score changing?
My zFTP on zwiftpower is stuck at 138w even though my FTP is clearly 3.52/236w (67 kg rider) on both the Zwift website and in the bar & power charts on Zwiftpower and my worst race’s FTP was 206.
My pace group also seems to be stuck at D and my racing score hasn’t changed once and is stuck at 11 even though I’ve raced up categories with decent results.
So far I’ve won an E race, placed 2nd, 4th and 7th in D races, and in the top half (32/71, 7 secs behind 1st) of a C race. My race score on Zwifts site shows an up arrow next to my race score for every race yet it has never actually changed. My wife, who has never raced and rides about 1/10th of what I do, somehow has a better racing score
I realize this ultimately doesn’t make a difference in the end but it’s a bit frustrating when Zwift constantly recommends I race at the lowest level.
Yes, you’re an interesting case-study and have been noticed. No fault of your own, but somehow the system has really screwed up with your profile. @TimHanson was going to ask zwift to look into this.
The data is all collected correctly and seems to show in ZP, but the resulting calculations of both your legacy CE zFTP, and your ZRS is way off base.
Thanks @Wannie. Yes, everything seems fine on the front end. All the data is there and uploaded correctly but something funky is definitely happening with the back end calculations used to generate those data points.
I agree that 2 and 11 seem to be popular scores. I wonder if they somehow correspond to a minimum watts or w/kg not being meet for either or both of 30s and 10 min power?
Where did you read about 5 races being required to get a ‘proper’ score?
