Zwift Racing Score Tracking

My Zwift Racing Score keeps changing, but I’m not seeing anywhere that shows when or why. The number just goes up.

I can usually guess why it changed - a good race result or a new 5 minute power - but is there anywhere that shows me that my score changed and notes why?

I read of mention of “up arrows” and “up arrows with an underscore”. Where do I see these?

This is now a Feature Request? The Zwift Racing Score FAQ says there are all these up and down arrows, but they don’t actually exist?

Hi @,welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.

I got you! It’s essential to be on track with your racing score to see which events you can join, and how much you did.

I guess you’re referring to those arrows below which you can find in the article: Racing Score FAQ.

The arrows next to your Racing Score in Race Results give you a bit more info on how your Racing Score has changed based on your results from this race:

Just a tip to keep in mind:

Certain events can be set up to prevent riders’ scores from being updated. To ensure that an event’s results affect a rider’s score, it must have a “ranked” tag. There are various other factors outlined in the previous article and the one below that explain why scores may rise or fall. Be sure to take a look!

All About Zwift Racing Score

My score seems to be changing following WTRL ZRL events. No indication of a score change is shown in the results but the score changes anyway.

If the event is exempt, the ZRS should not change.
If the event is not exempt, the ZRS could change and should be indicated.
If finish placing in the event is exempt but new floor values are not exempt, a ZRS change should still be indicated.

100% this. It seems like “event causes ZRS changes” and “results show ZRS changes” are set independently. I can’t think of a reason why you’d want to have changes not showing.

I asked the same question earlier here and Zwift responded that the event organizers can choose if the event will impact the score or not.

Looks like like majority of pace-category-based races do not count but ZRL, their flagship race series, does. Except for TTT.

The issue isn’t that the events are impacting the score. It’s that some events impact the score but that change isn’t shown anywhere.

If you look at a zRacing results page, there is a column for the Score and the direction of the change.
A ZRL result’s page doesn’t have that column, but scores do change from the results of those races.
