Anyone having issues with zwift crashing with no error messages in the last few days? It’s crashed 5 times in the space of an hour. It’s updated twice in the past week, including today. (edit) Something def changed with the update today devs - The game crashes constantly after a few minutes. It’s not even useable. Last log below, wrote “removed” for URLs and xx in lieu of my data

I think your launcher is out of date so you could try updating it. It should be 1.1.7.

I’m surprised that you say the game has updated multiple times. There have not been multiple updates in the last week. That makes me think you might want to try a clean reinstall. (You can ignore the part about backing up the “cp” folder.)

If that doesn’t help, look for clues in the Windows Event Viewer.

I received an update this morning but it’s not a recognised one in the incremental list. Ie. Its not 1.34.1

No idea what its done but probably added some assets for forthcoming races or events and not a bug fix.

I already had 1.34, but on my last login I got a quick windows notify update for something called like ‘zwifthelper.exe’ – happened really quick. No idea what it was.

By the way, if you only have 4GB of system memory, you might want to upgrade that to the minimum 8GB.

Did that appear in the bottom left of the login box? If so then i think that’s always there. Certainly something i see anyway.

Appreciate the information and tips. So here’s an update. I reloaded the zwift program per directions and it updated to current version. I also made sure that windows was updated. Additionally, I updated the chipset drivers. But the problem persists. I now know that it has something to do with my GPU, as an error reporting window pops up…well it did. At first, I just updated the GPU driver and the game would crash even faster, within 3 minutes of being in a map whether cycling or just watching. So i rolled back the GPU (display adapter) driver and it would still crash but it took much longer… @ 15 minutes after getting into a world. Then I updated with a chipset driver, as its a CPU/GPU type of thing, and now the rollback option for the GPU (display adapter) is subdued and its still crashing within 3 minutes. It crashes hard, if I don’t CTRL-ALT-DELETE fast, it will black screen and then I have to do a hard restart. So I really need some help because I’ve hit the extent of my capability. I’ve been using my laptop for the last 3 or 4 months with no issues and then this started about the 13th or 14th.
I’ll be happy to post more logs but which ones should I pull?
