Following the latest update I am unable to use Zwift. My set up has not changed -Stages sb20 bike, Apple TV and Zwift. I use Companion to link my bike and its features to Zwift - this is now not working - Zwift will pair to my Stages SB20 via Bluetooth and connect but there is no resistance, power nothing full stop. I have done all I can disconnect my router - leave for 30 seconds - restart - disconnect Stages bike from power leave for 30 seconds restart - deleted Zwift off Apple Tv and reinstalled - logged back in - same issue - I cannot ride - this is all since the update - nothing else at all with my setup has changed - it all has gone wrong since this latest update - please can anyone advise this is just doing my head in - Thanks
Do you get power and resistance when you test it in the Stages app? Does the zero reset process work?
having problems with the Stages app - now you mention it - it finds the bike and then says it cant find the bike Paul
Hmm, I am not sure if this is a Zwift problem or a coincidental bike problem, but if you pair the left power meter to Zwift and do not pair the bike, that should still result in ability to ride. The power meter is an independent piece of equipment that should work as long as the battery is good.
I have heard from people who successfully contacted Stages support recently and got spare parts, although I understand they are just selling off old inventory and not manufacturing new parts. The StagesBike SB20 Owners Group on Facebook is the best place to get community support for the bike.
Ok thanks
Hi @Richard_Davies4 welcome back to Zwift HQ.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Peeking at your server logs, I spotted a couple of major red flags.
Your Stages bike is on firmware version 1.1, which is from October 2020. There’s been a lot of updates to it since then, and bringing it up to the latest version is the first thing that you’ll need to take care of during triage. Stages firmware release notes and update instructions are on their support site.
Your Play controllers also need an update from firmware version 1.0.0 using the Zwift Companion app. Instructions are here.
Would you try both of those things to see if that sorts out the no resistance issue?
