Hi
I have an issue where sometimes when I start a ride on Zwift power will stay around 45 watts regardless of what I do. It is the same in ergmode or resistancemode regardless of gearing and cadence.
It happened last time about a week ago and it doesn’t seem to help if I log off, reboot my PC and trainer.
I’m using a Tacx Neo 2 and run Zwift on a PC. I’m not certain if I use ANT+ or Bluetooth when I have this problem and it doesn’t happen every time.
I’ve had the issue for several years and usually I just switch to Trainerroad and do a workout there but now that there is an integration I would really like to do my workouts on Zwift and figure out why this is happening.
Best regards
Mikael
if you use the tacx training app does it do it on that also or just zwift?
Hi @Mikael_Wijkmark.
Welcome to the forums. I’m Haziel from Zwift. Thank you for sharing your concern about power readings accuracy. I know how important this is and I’d be happy to help.
As for Rich’s comments please try to use your trainer on the Tacx app this will help to check if the issue occurs on both apps, I also recommend calibrating your trainer and checking for any updates following the manufacturer’s instructions. Please also, use an ERG workout or a similar SIM activity.
I hope this helps. If the issue persists, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
