Personalized Recommendations - Beta [November 2025]

I completed the activity, but the banner is still there.

After scrolling through thousands of future requests and the 2026 Wishlist - nowhere did I see a request for a “Next Up” card in the ZCA that takes up 3/4 of the screen on my iPhone; nor did I see any requests for a “Next Up” card on the Zwift home screen bigger than the Tour de Zwift banner or that dwarfs the current ongoing Tune-up challenge. Seriously? What am I missing?

All the platforms are trying to do Ai coaching so you are stuck with it unfortunately. Do you ever use what they are suggesting?

The request would not have looked like “I’d like a Next Up card that takes up 3/4 of the screen”. It would probably be related to asking for Xert (or other AI training platform) integration, some form of adaptive training supported in Zwift, or better more seamless workout integration. Or, it could have just been people complaining about workout navigation, the need to search workouts, the sheer volume of workouts they have to get through to find a good one vs. the app just making that easier etc.

Or maybe it’s just “I’d like Zwift to just make it easier to figure out what to do next” for folks who don’t want to decide what route, pacer, or workout to do etc.

If the “up next” was so good that anyone following the “Up Next” suggestions saw whatever gains they were looking for… so good you no longer felt the need to go searching for workouts, or trying to build your own plan, so good you didn’t feel the need to subscribe to another coaching platform… then people who are looking to improve might appreciate it. Of course some folks aren’t looking to “work out”, some just want to sit and spin, explore, etc.., so something like this should be more “opt-in” in my opinion.

For me the feature does not work well enough to replace my need to go searching through hundreds of workouts, so it needs more work to be anything other than taking up space for me. That said I did find a couple of workouts from it that I otherwise wouldn’t have.

Lucky you. I have trouble getting out of the “Fresh” zone but am currently thrashing myself on the tour and its spiking through productive and today for the fist time ever it came up on the companion App……..Next Up.

Pretty happy about it really it says I need a gentle ride today to recover…..Then tells me to do the “Flat Out Fast” thought it was pretty funny.

Two things I’ve discovered about Zwift as a company over the past few years, based on observation

  1. They do not have a User Experience team (or person).
  2. They do not have a large enough test team.

Yes, please give us the option to remove/hide it… couldn’t care less

The scary thing, with all their focus on becoming a “fitness” company, instead of a virtual cycling company, they are going to remind people that there are much better fitness companies that offer virtual cycling out there, and those companies do include other sports in their fitness metrics.

The day I need “machine learning” to tell me what my body needs is the day I lose confidence in society as a whole!

Yes. Very annoying and for most people useless

Please remove “Next Up” and “Challenges” from the Zwift Companion Home screen. Or give us the option to show what we’d actually like to see.

More scrolling needed now to get to the events page to sign up for an event

Thanks zwift UX and UI team for this feature that cannot be turned off

This feature adds zero value to me. Zwift is not my coach. I don’t want zwift to try to coach me.

Pure arrogance from ZHQ thinking we want this and not allowing it to be disabled.

How do I remove this from the Companion app please? Zwift has no idea what I’m doing other than cycling, and the suggestions are both unhelpful and annoying

I haven’t seen it in-game yet but this unchangeable and not-what-I-want suggestion is annoying and I have to scroll down almost two pages to get to the events list now. I could see it being useful if I can choose my next session from companion (to include my custom workouts) but add me to the list of people saying “option to turn it off please”

Customization would go a long way here. I’d be really happy with a smaller fitness tracker card, a “next session” card (to let me queue up a route and/or workout, or a pace partner, or an event, to reduce friction when getting on the bike), then the upcoming events card, all fitting on a single screen without scrolling.

I think this is a great update, even if it’s in beta. I logged on today not knowing what to actually do and this was up there for a strength session. Really hit the spot and will use it more.

what would kind of be cool is a Russian roulette style workout where you run the risk of getting something that would kill you. There would probably be a lot of people who would just quit lol

Please give us the option to turn this off.

Do not need this and suggestion does not fit in with my needs.

Also makes it harder to find what I want without unnecessary scrolling.

My home screen used to simple and quick to see what I needed. Now it’s full, complicated and I have to scroll down to see things that I used to be able to see at a glance. Please tell me there is some way to remove this. (Also, please bring back Activities as a button at the bottom of the Home Screen).
