Ok, so I had a problem when my Zwift Ride frame arrived, no adapters and damaged. Managed to get some adapters after chasing support for what felt like years.
Now…… doing an easy ride, no real power and my pedal, which was tightened by hand (never been an issue before) has sheared off mid ride!! As it’s sheared off it’s now not allowing any pedal to be screwed back in!!
Frustrated does not go anywhere near how I feel about this. Bike arrived damaged, I let it go, bike needed adapter’s you can only get from Zwift, received, and now the pedal is done in.
When I finally get a response from Zwift this frame is going back with a full refund expected. Not happy!!!
This is asking for trouble, and an especially hazardous one if you’re out on the road. Please use the correct tool on all your pedals and check all your other bikes so they’re properly tightened into the crankarm with a wrench.
Hey @shooj, correct tool had been used. When I say by hand, I mean no power tools, just the tool supplied with the frame and setup as directed in the manual and guidance videos.
I now also have to pay a £30 return fee for a faulty item! Not acceptable.
