Finished race in tenth place but my laptop froze before I could save the ride… can you somehow recover this?

If you do another ride, you might find the crashed ride gets uploaded, but streaks are calculated from each Monday so if you can ride before then the streak will not be affected, and if you have more than 12 weeks in your streak you should have a “streak saver” that will preserve it.
If you want advice about avoiding future crashes, share details about the laptop such as the model ID that’s probably on a sticker on the bottom.
Thanks…I’ve got to make an unexpected trip tonight that takes me away from my trainer til next week…I guess I can try a ride in my laptop that goes nowhere, lol.

In addition to what Paul mentioned, the good news is that each of your rides is saved on your computer as a standard .fit file. If you navigate to your Documents folder and then to Zwift → Activities, you’ll find all your rides stored there, neatly named by the ride date, making it easier to locate the specific ride you’re concerned about.

Also, remember that your outdoor rides contribute to your streak as well! @Jonathan_Poor just so you know, there’s no way to use a partial saved fit file to preserve your streak so Haziel’s advice won’t do anything to help you with that. It either uploads automatically on your next ride or it doesn’t.
I’m guessing this is the same crash-at-finish-line bug that @Matt_Wheeler has been dealing with for months, in which case there’s nothing to solve, just suffer with indefinitely.
Well did the 2k ride to keep the streak going and what do you know, the crashed ride showed up!
