just pedal slower and it will look just fine.
Hey everyone,
Just a quick update on the PAS Racing series.
We’ve taken the decision to annul the first round of results from the GC website (The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App)
This is on account of the route for the stage changing after 24 hours.
The final 3 stages will be included as per normal.
This does not impact the campaign - you will still receive XP for completing the first stage.
Sound fair.
Hey All!
Crediting has been completed for the missing 1000XP.
@manda_F I think I’m still missing it.
After completing the Gravel Mountain ride on Monday, I earned 634 XP out of 20,000 for the next level, according to the Progress Report at the end of a ride.
My next ride on Tuesday put me at 1594 XP out of 20,000.
Wednesday I did an outdoor ride, that according to the Fitness Trends on Companion app earned me 165 XP, which puts me 1759XP out of 20,000.
Thursday’s Zwift ride put me 2277 XP out of 20,000.
I just checked by starting and ending a ride with no distance, and I’m still at 2277 XP out of 20,000 according to the end of ride Progress Report
I take a screenshot of the progress screen after every ride and I don’t see any jump of 1050 xp. I’d settle for 1000xp.
The Jungle Circuit route has always had a very long and rather pointless lead-in (all the way down to the waterfalls at the bottom of the loop).
I was excited to see Zwift launched a gravel route. It disappeared before I could try it. Does nayone know fi/when it will return?
There hasn’t been any news shared about when it will return. Context is on this topic:
Zwift said when the execution of Gravel mountain matches expectations and represents the course as it was intended. It is a priority but a date can not be determined.
Red Rock Loop needs some work, I don’t see why the standard Gravel Mountain can’t be available. The issues all seemed to be from the GPS scaling speed boost, without that the route should be fine.
Hi
Where is “Zwif Stage 1: Pas Racing: Jungle Circuit” Global Classification?
On “Jungle Circuit” i did 17:32 that got me on 1ºst in my country and 9º worldwide.
The actual table only shows last 3 stages, where is the GC of the first stage?
The first stage has been removed from the GC because some people completed it on Gravel Mountain before the course was switched because of issues.
I’m sure. All things take time. Then, testing. (yes, I know.)
That’s sad.. I did a great time..
Thanks for the answer Steve.
I rode Stage1 (Jungle Circuit) and didn’t noticed any issue.
Before i rode the “prologe” (Red Rock Loop) and this one was buggy, the peoplo were flying, too much speed.
A lot of us raced Red Rock Loop on Monday and Tuesday before it was replaced with Jungle Circuit around 1810 BST on Tuesday.
I doubt I was the only one that gave Red Rock a 100% effort and simply didn’t have the recovery time to squeeze in a decent effort on Jungle Circuit on top of other planned races/workouts for the week.
Cancelling GC for week one in such circumstances was a good decision.
While I’d very much welcome Red Rock returning after some improvements, I’d also like to see some of the existing sub 5Km routes have a surface replacement option to dirt/gravel.
I agree Red Rock was removed, it was a mess.. But i do not understand why they removed the Jungle Circuit, i raced it and it was ok. (I did not understood Steve explanation, maybe my bad english..). I Also gave 100% effort on both races.
Sorry if I wasn’t clear. What I meant was that the Gravel Mountain stage (Red Rock) was replaced by Jungle Circuit part-way through the running of that week’s stage.
So Zwift decided to remove Stage 1 completely from the GC, otherwise you’d have a Stage 1 completed on two different routes and comparing those in a GC doesn’t make any sense.
